Ekatra
Radio Play, In Good Company x Attenborough Arts Centre, 2024
We are all complex, multi-dimensional, whole people, but when we break ourselves into pieces to fit into everyone else's world, it's near impossible to fit them back together when we're left alone. Kajol is a 22-year-old second-generation immigrant who moved straight from university to a 9 - 5 office job. Like a lost astronaut, she floats from Tom's, Izzy's, Aisha's, and her family's worlds.
However, just as she thinks everything is perfectly balanced, the worlds collide. She has to realise her method is not sustainable and is pushed to mature her approach before she becomes wholly alienated.

It Moved For Me
Short Play, Leicester Curve, 2024
Understanding grief and experiencing grief are not two sides of the same coin.
This memory play follows Nina as she recalls moments from her previous (and only) romantic relationship. The play dives into the untrustworthy nature of our memory - how it shapes our perceptions, influences our actions, and how our present selves grapple with our past experiences.

I Live with the Locals
R&D, Cambridge 2023
In this emotionally charged episode, we follow the journey of a young woman whose life has been haunted by her past trauma. Coping mechanisms have become her shackles, keeping her from forming genuine connections with others. However, a courageous decision to travel to Vietnam unlocks a world of self-discovery, mental healing, and a new sense of purpose. We witness her journey through the lens of culture shock's "honeymoon stage," and as her emotional barriers crumble, we're reminded that a change of environment can lead to profound transformations. This episode is an exploration of the human spirit's resilience, love, and the power of wanderlust.
